I invite you to join me on a personalised insight into the beauty and
unique experience of exploring the delights of our enchanting island of
Islay.
Born and
bred on Islay, it would fill me with a great sense of pride to welcome
you and share with you all that our island has to offer.
The
wildlife live freely in their natural habitat, and the long sandy
beaches are truly magnificent! The rugged coastlines offer a complete
contrast, and the flowers and fauna are awesome.
Yes we get
rain and we get sunshine! The rainbows, and sunsets are positively
stunning! Incidentally the natural lighting is truly superb for
photography and the scenes are spellbinding!
It is a
very safe island to live in, the people are friendly, and we are nicely
removed from any city crowding.
I will be
delighted for you to savour all of these joys, also I will be pleased
to arrange for you to take part in any of the more active pursuits like
golfing, fishing, pony trekking, shooting etc. or just walking on the
beaches taking in all the fresh sea air!
The
distillery tours are popular and the dram at the end is even
better! Allow me to be your chauffeur while you enjoy this more
relaxed pursuit!
Ancient
sites, local craft shops, Family History Society, and more, are at your
disposal.
I can also
arrange the accommodation for your stay on the island, and recommend
from our special selection of eating places if desired. The local
restaurants serve freshly caught shellfish, and the deliciously
succulent Islay beef and Islay lamb are also on the menu.
